  • i take it all back...

i take back everything i said about j-lo and not liking her. i haven't seen her last few movies and didn't buy her last 2 CD's, but since i started running again, some of her music that i have keeps me going. i'm not saying she's the best singer because we all know she's not, but that girl's got an ear for a good beat. it actually helped me get through today's workout. i ran for 60 minutes straight and could've gone on for another 30 minutes. plus, i did some circuit training afterwards with those awful-but-necessary crunches and push ups, but the mix helped me get through that too. of course, i mixed her songs up with gwen stefani, beyonce, kelis, britney, and kylie minogue, but she was in there with the rest of them. thanks j-lo! i'll never diss you again (in this blog).

  • say it isn't so...

i can't believe brad pitt and jennifer aniston are splitting up. they were one of the few celebrity couples i thought would make it. then again, i thought the same about tom cruise and nicole kidman and look at what happened to them. the sad thing is that i was actually rooting for brad and jen to stay together, unlike britney and j-lo. actually, when brad hooked up with someone before meeting jen, i'd think, "no way is she even good enough for him," but when he hooked up with her, i didn't think it was all that bad, in fact i was happy. she was normal. actually, if you think about it, it must be extremely difficult to be so high-profile and maintain some degree of privacy and normalcy in a celebrity marriage. every move is under a microscope. marriage is already a difficult thing, but it must be a cake walk for a relative nobody like myself who doesn't have to deal with the issues of stardom. how awful.
